He was predeceased by: his stepfather James White; and his siblings, Sylvia Barnes and Donald White. He is survived by: his wife Joann M. Gibson; his children, Gaither Y. White of Charlotte and Le Venson Morgan of Waterbury, CT; his siblings, Audrey Miller (Seth) of Concord, Le Nae White and Ivory White; and his cousin Brenda Jamison of Wilmington, DE. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
