It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melody Miller of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Dayrl and Jean Baker Ping. She is survived by: her husband John W. Miller; her daughter Summer Jacobson (Ryan Ferson); her grandchild Jade Rose Ferson; and her siblings, Cynthia Ping and Rodney Ping (Mary).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Whitley's Funeral Home to help with funeral costs.
