She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Leitch and Mary Etta Spears Leitch; her former husband Edwin White; her husband Joe Pearson, Sr.; and her brothers, Vernon, Dewey and Arthur Lee Leitch.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Eugene White (Susan) of Kannapolis and Teresa White Hopkins (Michael) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Matthew Hopkins (Cheri), Timothy Hopkins (Kelly), Christopher Hopkins (Stephanie), Caroline Hopkins, Taylor White, Fiance, Justin and Brett White; and her niece Linda Wilson of Albemarle. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
