She was predeceased by: her parents, John Westley Helms and Cora Jacobs Helms; her husband Rev. Phillip I. White; her daughter Claudette Kiker; and her siblings, Floyd, Lonnie, Edward Helms and Irene Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Isaiah White (Carolyn) of Bessemer City, Cathy Kay Huggins of Salisbury, Ronald Lee White (Peggy) of Kannapolis, JoAnn Mahaffey (James) of Salisbury and Donald Ray White of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Brenda Clark, Cindy Kiker, Vickie Kiker, Tonia White, Wendy Anderson, Jammie M. Adcock and Jennifer M. Tilley; and her great grandchildren, Amber McClain, Alexis Christian, Christina Trinidad, Nathan Kiker, Holly Gibson, Dylan Anderson, Alyssa Anderson, Makaylia Adcock, Andrew Adcock and T. J. Tilley. She is also survived by 3 great great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
