It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Virginia Dwiggins (Kannapolis, North Carolina), who passed away on May 30, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Paul E. Christy and Henry Cornelius Christy. She is survived by: her parents, Henry Lewis Christy and Thelma Annie Proffitt Christy; her husband Hoyle "Bob" Dwiggins; her children, Timothy Wesley Dwiggins of Kannapolis and Sheila Ahearn (Mark) of Myrtle Beach; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Dwiggins, Jason Dwiggins, Patrick Ahearn and Kevin Ahearn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
