She was predeceased by: her parents, Nickolas Peay and Pearl Brooks Peay; her husband Andrew Lee Cureton; and her children, Delorise Cureton, Elise Cureton, Ophelia Cureton, Francis Moody, Reginald Segers, Melvin Cureton and Horace Cureton.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Dinkins (Billy) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Barbara Covington, Angelo Cureton and Gary Cureton of Albemarle; and her close friend Ethel Caldwell. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
