It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Virginia Cocherell of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Roland Wilson and Lula Viola Burris; her husband Bobby Ray Cocherell; and her siblings, Jerry Wayne Wilson and Gentalee Allmon.
She is survived by: her brother William Wilson (Brenda); and her children, Jeffrey Cocherell (Melissa), Rhonda Cocherell of Lake Worth, FL, Jatana Savage (Grey) of Kannapolis, NC and Savannah Robbins (Kevin) of China Grove, NC.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
