She is survived by: her husband Gary Howard Ames of Concord; her children, Tami Carr (Bruce) of Locust, NC, Gary Ames II (Jennifer) of Locust, NC and Annemarie McWaters (Andy) of Mooresville, NC.; and her grandchildren, Steven (Leah), Abigail (Gabriel), John, Amanda, Alli, Joseph, Jacob, Isaac, Olivia, Matthew and Maggie.
