He was predeceased by: his parents, Nash Frye and Elizabth Frye; his wife Mary Alice Clontz Frye; his son Rev. Michael Frye; and his siblings, Ruth, Dewey, Craig and Linn.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Frye (Debbie) of Concord, David Frye (Susan) of Oxford, Joe Frye (Carolyn) of Mint Hill and Karen F. Overcash (Mike) of Kannapolis; his daughter-in-law Judy Sloop Frye of Waxhaw; and his sister-in-law Faynell Frye of Kannapolis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calendar Mt. Moriah Evangelical Lutheran Church (750 Mt Moriah Church Rd, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
