She is survived by: her son Keith Mitchell Garver (Fran Wilkinson Garver) of Kannapolis; her grandsons, John Patrick Garver (April) of Goldsboro and Lee Harrison Garver (Kiley) of Charlotte; her brothers, Ben Shirley of Kannapolis and Burney Shirley of Goldsboro; her niece Jennifer Pittman; her nephew William Pittman; and her great grandchildren, Anna Gray Garver, Maddox Lee Garver, James Harrison Garver and John Michael Garver.
