She was predeceased by: her parents, Burette Sells and Martha Mae Trexler Sells; her husband Harry Albert Taylor; her brother Bob Sells; and her grandson Steven Beam.

She is survived by: her children, Patton Long of Simpsonville, SC, Priscilla Long Hinson of Salisbury, Monica Long Miller (Berry) of Charlotte, Dianne Taylor McKnight of Charlotte, Jan Taylor Cooper of Wilmington, NC and Libby Taylor MacConaugha of Atlanta, GA.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and extended family.
