She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bodford and Bessie Bodford; her husband Charles H Howerton; and her siblings, Willis, Charles, Franklin Bodford, Lucille Carter, Lena Gentry and Alice Hockett.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Jones (David) of Concord; her grandchildren, David Jones, Jr. (Rhonda) of Kannapolis, Chris Jones (Alicia) of Huntersville and Erin Wagner of Concord; and her sister Ethel Stanfield of Winston-Salem.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Wesleyan Church (2390 Union Cross Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
