She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey Hix and Ellie David Hix; and her siblings, Virginia Linker, Joe and Jack Hix.
She is survived by: her nieces, Mary Jo Snipes of Kannapolis and Vicki Hill of Colfax, NC; and her nephew Mike Hix of Burnsville, NC..
