She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Allen Murphy of Taylorsville and Susan Jane Clark Murphy of Kannapolis; her husband Kenneth "Ken" Long; her stepson Joshua Long; her half-brother Wesley Murphy of Michigan; her grandmother Glenda Long of Kannapolis; and her stepmother Alicia Murphy of Taylorsville.
