It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Kay Shinn Barringer of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Shinn and Lina Carter Shinn; and her siblings, Margaret Lucille Shinn Adams, Betty Sue Shinn Christy and Gilbert Shinn.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Reid Barringer; her daughters, Elizabeth Wesley Barringer Bass (Lawrence Bradford Bass) and Ginger Ree Barringer Fennell (Donald Henry Fennell Jr.); her sister Valoree Elizabeth Shinn; and her grandchildren, Rachel Alexandra Bass, David Andrew Bass, Alexander Bradford Bass and Greta Isabella Fennell.
