She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fletcher and Bertha Morgan Harrington; her husband Leonard Edison Gainey; her son Donnie Ray Beaver; and her brother John H. Harrington.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wayne Beaver (Linda) of Kannapolis, Eddie Dean Harrington (Marlene) of Salisbury and Lucille Gainey Burris of Rockwell; and her siblings, Margaret Cline of Concord, Kenneth Harrington (Betty) of Salisbury, William Harrington of Landis and Charles Harrington (Theresa) of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
