Lillian Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2019, at the age of 95, Lillian Long (Kannapolis, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Messer and Lena Mae Bullard Messer; her husband C. A. Long (Cal); and her sisters, Phyllis Alexander and Zoe Byrd.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynne Long Barley of Calabash; her grandchildren, Bryan Kindley of Seattle, WA, Joy Kindley Williams of Topsail Beach and Kristina Robinson of Charlotte; her brothers, Ed Messer (Ellen) of Charlotte and Bill Messer (Hilda) of Kannapolis; and her niece Susan Byrd Gardner. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 101 N. Main St, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
