It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lilian Cockayne (Kannapolis, North Carolina), born in Liverpool, North West, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Devers and Jean Hughes Devers; her son Neil Vernon Cockayne; and her siblings, Jean D. Temme and Andrew Devers.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon L. Cockayne; her daughters, Julie Post (Keith Talbott) of Concord and Paula Cockayne-Loeb of Suffern, NY; her grandchildren, Jonas, Owen, Noah Loeb, Nicole Hofeldt, Sierra and Summer Post; and her brother George Steve Devers of London, England. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
