She was predeceased by: her parent Karl Bauer; her husband William "Bill" Houston Ballard, Jr.; and her brothers, Herbert Bauer and George Bauer. She is survived by: her parent Margot Durkas Bauer; her children, Sandra Marie Trujillo (Diego) of Landis, Donald L. Ballard of Landis and John J. Ballard; her siblings, Annette Schalk (Stefan) of Worms, Germany, Karlheinz Bauer (Eva-Marie) of Worms, Germany and Klaus Bauer (Gabby) of Worms, Germany; and her niece Angela Maria Medina of Worms. She is also survived by four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
