He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Yvonne" Wingler of Kannapolis; his daughter Donna Robie; his son-in-law Danny Robie; his grandson Matthew Robie of Kannapolis; and his sister Betty Sue Barrett of Kannapolis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
