He is survived by: his significant other Robin Postell; his adoptive son Abe Maxwell; and his siblings, Patricia McCorkle of Mooresville, NC, Sheila William of Mooresville, NC, Gail Collins of Mooresville, NC, Mae Settles of Baltimore, Maryland, Tommy McCorkle of Concord, NC, Walter McCorkle of Mooresville, NC and Earl McCorkle of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel (923 Indiana St, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. Due to Covid-19 Masks are appreciated if worn to all services.
