She was predeceased by: her parents, Jagmohan Desai and Taraben Desai; and her husband Rameshchandra Mehta. She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Kirit, Bhavna, Dipak, Sharmila, Jagdish, Sunita, Mukesh and Gita; her grandchildren, Ruchik (Kruti), Parikshit (Amy), Sudeep (Rina), Radhika (Parth), Shraeya, Vishal (Chessie) and Neeti; and her great grandchildren, Kaavya, Kiaan and Anura. She is also survived by two sisters in India and her four sons.
