She is survived by: her husband George Clifford Sowell; her daughters, Leigh Ann Henderson of Kannapolis and Allison Fortson of Apex; and her sisters, Tamara Reavis of Kannapolis and Gisele Rankin (Lawson) of Cary. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
