It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Lee Douglas of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brewer and Blanche Parks Willis; her husband Willie Edward Douglas, Sr.; her son Andre Douglas; her granddaughter Brandi Winecoff; her brother Jerry Junior Willis; and her stepfather Jerry Willis, Sr..

She is survived by: her son Willie Edward Douglas Jr. of Kannapolis, NC; her great grandchildren, Michael Anderson, Timothy Anderson and Jacob Anderson; her brother Randy Willis (Eric Young) of Kannapolis, NC; her goddaughter Candice Bennett (Melvin) of Kannapolis, NC; her nieces and nephews, Yolanda Wilson-Hinson (Walter), Kimberly Bennett (Dion), Rufus Grier and Jerry Willis; her sister-in-law Dorothy Hall of Kannapolis, NC; and her close friends, Marva Norman of Kannapolis, NC and Frances Jackson of Kannapolis, NC. She is also survived by cousins, and friends.
