He is survived by: his mother Deidre Parris Friesner of York, SC.; his wife Brittney Sloop Tapp; his children, Braylen Robert Tapp and Ella Grace Tapp; his stepfather James Friesner; his sister Amanda Jones; his son Grayson Jones; his sister Jessica Sexty; his children, Blake and Makayla Sexty; his in-laws, Rick and Cindy Sloop; his sister Sara; and his brother-in-law John Goforth. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his wife and children to help during this time.
