She was predeceased by: her parents, Alban Gillespie and Mildred Halstead Gillespie; and her husband Robert G. Middleton. She is survived by: her children, Kendra Tipton of Mount Sterling, KY, Kevin Middleton of Florida, Phillip Middleton of Belmont and Bradley Middleton of Tennessee; and her siblings, Thomas A. Gillespie and Barbara A. Twiddy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
