It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Patterson of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pope and Vernie Burgess Pope; and her sister Jane Vannoy. She is survived by: her daughters, Libby Dover (Danny), Risa Deas (Pete) and Sherri Howard (Tim). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
