He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Boyd "Shorty" Harrington and Lida Cates Harrington; his siblings, William, Kenneth, David and Joyce; and his significant other Betty Maxine "Pat" Hilburn Harrington.
He is survived by: his daughter Roxanne Hunter (Richard); his grandchildren, Tara Hunter (Carr Jones) and Alan Hunter (Amanda Galloway); his niece Star Kelly (Rick); and also Jennifer. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
