It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edward Wilhelm (Kannapolis, North Carolina), born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ila Ennis Wilhelm and Thomas Alexander Wilhelm; and his wife Selma Starnes Wilhelm. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Edward Wilhelm (Kathia), Jerry Allen Wilhelm (Sally), Vickie Lynn Wilhelm, John Thomas Wilhelm (Jane), Robin Wilhelm Lyon and William Jeffrey Wilhelm.
