He was predeceased by: his parents, John Drew Campbell Sr. and Virginia Idell Tyner Campbell; and his great-niece Callie Jo Shirley. He is survived by: his son Stephen Campbell of Kannapolis; his sister Jenny Shirley (Kent) of Kannapolis; and his close friend Julio Garcia.
