He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawson Kerley and Virginia Basinger Kerley; and his daughter Angela Michelle "Angie" Kerley. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Brian Kerley of South Dakota and Jessie Kerley, Jr. of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Brandon Kerley (Courtney) of Kannapolis, Austin Sechler of Rockwell, Alexis Schenk of Rockwell, McKenzie Sechler of Rockwell and Miah Kerley of South Dakota; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Drake Kerley and Ryan King; and his siblings, Lucille Smith (Jack) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Gary Kerley of Wisconsin.
The family requests that memorials be made to Eastwood Baptist Church, 302 Cook Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
