He was predeceased by: his father A. C. Wensil; and his wife Valta Rae Davis Wensil. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Wensil, Dr. Tommy Wensil (Glena), Douglas Wensil and Christopher Wensil; and his sister Sylvia McLendon (Mac). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
