He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde William Church and Nora Bell Hylton Church; his wife Doris Elizabeth Corl Church; and his siblings, Margaret Church, Loretta Melton, Carol Marsh, Lowell Church, Douglas Church, Hargus Church, Clyde Church, Jr. and Frank Church.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri Hannah (Billy) of Concord, Leanna Howard (Roger) of Concord and Denise Barbee (Keith) of Concord; his stepdaughter Sonya Helms (Joe) of Kannapolis; his siblings, Shirley Sutton of Locust, Ruth Bokhoven (Arnold) of Mint Hill, Sulayne Lefler (Carl) of Concord, Eugene Church (Linda) of Panama City, FL and Daniel Church of Johnstown, PA; and his great grandchildren, Charleigh Claire Smith of Concord and Elara Smith of Concord. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
