Jane Evans Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2022, at the age of 83, Jane Evans of Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Waggoner and Eula Lipe Waggoner; her husband Carl R. Evans; and her siblings, Lloyd, Melvin, Richard, James Waggoner, Carolyn Brown and Ann Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Bean (Richard) of Kannapolis, Tina Sechler (Steve) of Kannapolis and Brad Evans (Shelia) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Johnathan, Megan, Kelly (Justin), Garrett (Ariel), Leslie (Cody) and Bryan (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Carleigh and Beauden; and her pet Gabby.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service Thursday at Whitley's.

It is the family's request that memorials be made to the RTD Foundation at http://curertd.org.

Rest in peace, you are greatly loved. I deeply treasure the memories of our playing music and singing not that long ago and how much fun we had mining the thrift shops in Kannapolis and going to restaurants. I'm so grateful to have connected with you again. You are cherished and known.”
