It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Villard Sheets (Kannapolis, North Carolina), who passed away on August 24, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Carson Sheets; his siblings, Edward Sheets, Bruce Sheets, Cleo Adcock and Opal Bradley; and his grandson Bryon Christopher Sheets.
He is survived by: his parent Thelma Denton Sheets; his wife Ethel Hinson Sheets; his children, Ronald Sheets (Carol), Donald Sheets (Sheila), Gary Sheets (Cheryl) and Kim Sheets Dawsey (Autry); and his grandchildren, Dale Sheets (Tiffany), Ashley Eudy (Chad), Sommer Channell (Jason), Evan Sheets, Audie Dawsey, Chelsea Dawsey-Dutch (Zack), Creighton Dawsey and Brian Barnes.
