He is survived by: his children, Donna Ray of Charlotte, NC, Deborah Bradley of Eden, NC, Barry Murdock of Grayson, GA, Bruce Murdock of Arlington, VA and David Murdock of Kannapolis, NC; his grandchildren, Daphne Murray, Mahaley Ray, Darion Bradley, Mya Murdock and Miles Murdock; and his siblings, Edward Murdock, Berna Wills, Margie Murdock and Marvin Murdock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sandy Ridge AME Zion Church (1425 Mt Moriah Church Rd, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
