He was predeceased by: his father James Stewart; his wife Evelyn Allman Brown of Virginia; and his siblings, Lircey Brown, Ernest Rumple and Louise Watt.
He is survived by: his children, Gay Brown Adams (Jimmy) and Dennis Brown (Sandra); his sister Ruth Fesperman; his grandson Jason Adams; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Parson-Adams and Kelly Russ Miller (Matthew). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
