With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Clarence Brayley (Kannapolis, North Carolina), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 30, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alexander and Evelyn Pitts Brayley; his wife Beverly Lynn Roche Brayley; and his sisters, Charlene Potts of Cairo and Evelyn Inskeep of Virginia Beach, Virginia..
He is survived by: his children, Cyndi Jones (Tim) of Kannapolis and Chris Brayley (Jennifer) of Concord; and his grandchildren, Becky Qualls (Gary), Tamara Jones, Chris Jones, Michael Jones (Stephanie), Connie Jones (Steven), Jessie Jones, Carter Brayley, John Christian Brayley and Cate Brayley. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pitts Baptist Church and Hospice of Cabarrus County.
