He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vester Lail and Alice Pearl Buff Lail; and his wife Mary Jacqueline Barnhardt Lail. He is survived by: his children, Jack Worth Lail, Jr. (Paula) of Kannapolis and Elizabeth Williams (Scott) of Charlotte. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
