She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Brown and Bertha Odom Brown; and her siblings, Charles Brown, Leona Ferguson, Ila Hines and Lorene Watson.
She is survived by: her husband James Vernon Brock; her son Darol James Brock (Lee Ellen Brock) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Jenilee Hope Kennedy (Mark) of Clemmons and Seth Walker Brock (Traci) of Kannapolis; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Heidi, Kate Kennedy of Clemmons, Jullia and Sam Brock of Kannapolis; and her siblings, Tony W. Brown, Bobby R. Brown, Betty Caulder of Chesterfield, S. C., Trena Curtis of Chesterfield, S. C. and Cammie Chinery of Myrtle Beach.
Due to the current covid situation there will be a graveside service held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, October 23, 2020 at Carolina Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Charles Rogers.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
