She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Thomas Collins and Lydia Jane Sellers Collins; her husband William Alma Thomas; her siblings, Oscar, Carl, Jim, Bobby, Willie, Jack, Rhoda Munn, Lydia Thomas, Grace Wallace, Mary Crawford, Beatrice Blackmon, Margie Hodge, Carson, Larry, Terry, Katie Lee Blackmon and Clara Conyers; her children, Elaine Thomas Deese, William Alan Thomas, Jr. and Sally Thomas Spingler; and her grandchildren, Teresa Cleveland, Bryan Shinn, Lori Stoner, Johnny Laury and Angie Clayton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Midway United Methodist Church, Kannapolis, NC.
