Henry Clay Roten Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Clay Roten of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Roten and Bessie Eller Roten; and his granddaughters, Kristin Honeycutt and Karen Roten. He is survived by: his wife Delores Childress Roten; his children, Tamara R. Beaver (William) of Concord, Donna L. Roten of China Grove, Tyron C. Roten (Elaine) of China Grove and H. Wayne Roten (Barbara) of Kannapolis; and his sister Alice Whitley of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 28 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
