He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances Goodman Turner; and his siblings, James Turner, Doris Summers and Elsie Benfield. He is survived by: his children, Terresa "Teri" Turner of Rockwell, Jeff Turner of Mooresville and Scott Lynn Turner (Stacy Gregory) of Concord; and his stepchild Joseph Sloop. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
