She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Simpson and Jessie Mae Mingo Wright; her husband Willie; and her grandson Brionn Sheelor. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Sheelor of Kannapolis, NC, Glenn Sheelor (Sharon Chambers) of Kannapolis, NC and Vernon Sheelor (Jacquelyn) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Curtis Russell of Kannapolis, William Andrew Lloyd of Kannapolis, Greg Sheelor, Jr. of Kannapolis, TaShena Shipp of Kannapolis, Cassandra Trent of Kannapolis and Takera Sheelor of Kannapolis; her great grandchild Malaysia Sheelor; and her godson George "Chuck" Mack of Durham, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
