It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Lee Martin of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Orren and Dona Chapman Orren; her husband Calvin Lee Martin; her children, David L. Martin and Donna Martin Bost; her siblings, Effie Ingram, Hattie Cloninger, Linda Holt, Cedric Orren and Bill Orren; and her grandson Mitchell Deal.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lynn Hill (Kell) and Daniel Martin; and her siblings, Marie Chapman and Daniel Orren. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, four step-grandsons, and multiple step-great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
