He was predeceased by: his parent John William Franklin Sharpe; and his former wife Maizie Hubbard Sharpe. He is survived by: his parent Marie Osborne Sharpe; his grandfather Harvey; his wife Nancy Juanita Sharpe; his son Randy Sharpe (Earlene); his stepdaughters, Cathy Mullis (Kevin) and Monica Blackwelder (Robert); his brother Jimmy Sharpe; and his grandchildren, Randy Sharpe, Jr., William Harvey Sharpe, Christine Beckham and Jennifer Sharpe Beckham (Joey). He is also survived by husband, father.
