It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guynelle Wright of Kannapolis, North Carolina, born in Madison, Georgia, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hewitt Smith, Sr. and Willie Mae Brooks Smith; her husband Joe Wright; and her daughter Valarie Dayle Wright. She is survived by: her son Mark Wright (Jean); her grandchildren, Brian Musselwhite, Daniel, Allison Glasson and Paula Beaver Linthicum (Albia); her great grandchildren, Victoria Stavrakas (Bill), Nick Fowler, Alexandria Corbett (Philip), Caroline McDaries and Brandon Linthicum (Rachel); and her great great grandchildren, Leevi Fowler, Jack, Emma Stavrakas and Ellie Linthicum. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandkids.
