Grady Dean Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grady Dean Smith of Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Smith and Lydia Gorrell Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joyce James Smith; his children, Jimmy Dean Smith, Janet Lee Colvard (Randall), Lydia Gail Gibson (Keith) and Pamela Love; and his siblings, Malcolm Smith and Ordella Safrit. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; fifth teen great grandchildren; six great- great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Grady's memory to Price of Peace Freewill Baptist Church Parking Lot Fund, c/o of the church.
