He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Iva Eller and Fred Lanier Blackwood Jr.; his children, Andrew Blackwood of Concord, NC, Alicia Michele Blackwood House (Steven) of Cleveland, NC and Stephanie Blackwood of Kannapolis, NC; and his brothers, Monte Blackwood of Cooleemee, NC, Ronald Blackwood (Caryn) of Dallas, TX and Alan Dale Blackwood (Susan) of John's Island, SC. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and many cousins and other family members.
