She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeb Clay Simpson and Goldie Mae Riley Simpson; her daughter Lisa Renae Owings; her brother Lee Simpson; her grandson Cody Christopher Owings; and her sister Rita Jean Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Harvey; her son Chris Owings (Wendy); her granddaughter Sarah Owings; her stepchildren, Robert Brian Harvey (Connie), Kimberly Harvey Martin and Christi Harvey Pannell (Robert); her stepgrandchildren, David Thompson, Aaron Thompson, Stella Malony, Alex Pannell, Anna and Madison Harvey; her stepgreat-grandsons, Colton and Bryce Thompson; and her friends, Bill, Donna Roberts and Barbara Simpson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar the Brook Church (2290 US-29, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Gail's name to The Brook Church, 2290 South US 29, China Grove, NC 28023.
